Welcome to this month's Featured Links section. You can catch up on previous Featured Links here:

There are three quite varied Featured Links this month, but they all have one thing in common -- they are elements in much larger web-sites and are contributed by three individuals who have produced some of the most useful and extensive materials related to the New Testament on the internet. Felix Just, S.J. has a new site called E.N.T.E.R. (Electronic New Testament Educational Resources), ideal for new students. Peter Kirby continues to add material to his Early Christian Writings site and has made available the first on-line edition of one of the classics of New Testament criticism, Albert Schweitzer's The Quest of the Historical Jesus. And Wieland Willker's new illustrated web site on Codex Vaticanus is well worth a visit.

E.N.T.E.R.
Electronic New Testament Educational Resources, by Felix Just, S.J.: an excellent, growing collection of materials "appropriate for beginning and advanced students, teachers, pastors, and others interested in the study of the Bible". There is a wealth of useful material here including a glossary of important terms, a basic bibliography for students, overviews, charts and introductions to New Testament genres, books, backgrounds, authors and themes. A strongly recommended collection of materials authored by Just, especially helpful for new students.

Albert Schweitzer, The Quest of the Historical Jesus
Full reproduction of W. Montgomery's English translation of one of the most famous books in New Testament studies; this is the first English edition of 1910 (London: A & C Black, 1910). This on-line edition was prepared by Peter Kirby on his Early Christian Writings site. This is one of the latest additions to the Historical Jesus: Books and Articles page.

Codex Vaticanus
By Wieland Willker: clear, illustrated new web site devoted to Codex Vaticanus (B/03), including reflections on the recently discovered text-critical "umlaut" signs. This is a valuable addition to the extensive materials already made available on Wieland Willker's Bible Pages and it is the latest addition to The New Testament Gateway: Textual Criticism pages.
