The first two of our featured links this month are additions to the Religion-Online site, which produces full text reproductions of both recent and classic books and articles. Marcus Borg's book has now been removed from Religion-Online for copyright reasons, and the link here has been deleted.

Richard Heard, An Introduction to the New Testament
(New York: Harper & Brothers, 1950): complete reproduction on Religion-Online of a dated, little known yet still very useful book with introductions to critical study of the New Testament, the canon and the text, and major parts on "The Gospels and the Life of Jesus", "The Acts of the Apostles and the Growth of the Church", "The Epistles and the Teaching of the Church" and "The Revelation of John and Christian Apologetic". This is the latest addition to the General Resources section but links to its constituent parts can also be found in Gospels & Acts, Historical Jesus, Paul the Apostle and the Book of Revelation.

C. H. Dodd, The Apostolic Preaching and Its Developments
(New York: Harper & Row, 1964): complete reproduction on Religion-Online of a classic from C. H. Dodd. This was a book of three lectures delivered at Kings College, London in 1935. This is one the most recent additions to the Gospels & Acts page.

Marcus Borg, Jesus: A New Vision is now no longer available at Religion-Online for copyright reasons. To order the book from Amazon.com, you can this link: Jesus: A New Vision.

New American Bible
Full on-line version of National Conference of Catholic Bishops (United States Catholic Conference) translation of the Bible, for browsing from URL above, or available to Search from this URL. This is the latest addition to the Bible Translations and Editions page.

Pauline Studies
By Prof. Barry D. Smith of Atlantic Baptist University, Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada: remarkably extensive, detailed course materials from a conservative perspective. Sections include The Pre-Christian Paul, Paul's Conversion, Paul's Apostolic Career, Paul as Letter Writer, Pauline Christology and Paul and the Law. This is one of the latest additions to the Paul the Apostle page.
