Welcome to this month's Featured Links section. You can catch up on previous Featured Links here:

Featured Links begin this month with Peter Kirby's useful guide to Early Christian writings and continue with links to the searchable content of recent editions of Harvard Theological Review.

Early Christian Writings (URL adjusted 18 September 2001)
By Peter Kirby: very useful guide to Christian literature of the first two centuries, arranged chronologically. Sections on each writing or set of writings features links to on-line versions of the primary texts, links to secondary material and often some useful introductory material compiled by Kirby himself. Although an on-going project with some work still to be done, this site is already a fine guide for students of the New Testament.

Harvard Theological Review (NB: No longer available at FindArticles.com -- all these links now defunct, 25 April 2004)
The FindArticles.com web site has made available a searchable, free version of Harvard Theological Review covering 1998 to 2000. Type your search term and see what is available. Any article can be emailed to you in its entirety, or you can view it in web-friendly or print-friendly versions. There are three disadvantages with the site: (1) Greek characters are not displayed; (2) it is not possible to browse the contents of the journal; (3) original locations of articles (e.g. volume number, page numbers) are not referenced properly. As a partial means of overcoming (2) and (3), as well as to draw attention to what is available, I list here the articles relevant to the New Testament, including full citations.
