Bible Manuscripts Project
Has the Bible Manuscripts Project now gone? I had listed it under Textual Criticism: Images, but the site appears to have gone (and the URL was supposed to be a PURL too). I’d be grateful if anyone could let me know what has happened to this site.

It’s been gone for a while… (http://bibleandtech.blogspot.com/2009/09/what-happened-to-alphareltechorg.html) You can still access what’s left at: http://www.reltech.org/ It’s mainly there now to sell Migne’s PG and PL. I cannot find any archived remnant of the collection either. (It supposedly was mirrored here – http://209.19.227.169:8080/ – but that link doesn’t work either…)
Is that it?

No, I don’t think so. It was something over on James Adair’s TC-List site, I think.
Is it this site?: http://rosetta.reltech.org/TC/TC.html
No that is not it, but it contains a link to “TC Ebind index” (http://purl.org/TC/Ebind/docs/TC/ that takes you to http://rosetta.reltech.org/TC/Ebind/docs/TC/). That page has a link (http://purl.org/BibleMSS) to the looked for Biblical Manuscripts Project, but it ends in a 404 error.
When last viewed the project was associated with James Adair, and provided a wonderful collection of images of manuscripts allowing the scholar to consult the manuscript “directly”. I needed to view Codex Bezae, but now that I wish to view it again it cannot be found. It looks like the project has been scrapped, or there is something wrong with the PURL set up. I hope it comes back, or at least an explanation.
Actually, it’s here: http://rosetta.reltech.org/Ebind/docs/TC/ but this site links to the old PURLs, which no longer work, and have username / password things.
Had errors viewing the site in Safari on Linux, but I still loved the site.
